Glen Loma Ranch has a working history that dates back to the earliest
settlements in California. Originally part of a Spanish land grant, the rancho
was later acquired by "Cattle King" Henry Miller and added to his extensive
Central California holdings. After the repeal of Prohibition in the 1930s,
members of the Filice family acquired the property and planted vineyards for
their flagship San Martin Winery.
The Filice family's close connection to the lands of Glen Loma Ranch continues
to this day. They have conducted a comprehensive planning process to ensure that
the project will be carefully developed to protect and preserve the native
woodlands, creeks, and other natural features. And they have worked closely with
members of the local community to include innovative amenities that will make
Glen Loma Ranch a wonderful place to call home.
